Origins

PreClinOmics has as its foundation the 10 years of experience garnered acquiring, developing and producing rodent models as Genetic Models, Inc (Gmi).  Gmi brought to market models such as the male and female Zucker Diabetic Fatty Rat (ZDF), the SHHF and the ZSF1.  In July 2001, Gmi was acquired by Charles River Laboratories.  Utilizing a portion of GMI and valuable people assets and a preclinical contract research company was established with the experience and capacity to meet the discovery research needs of our clients.
